The closest movie theatre is the four screen Lincoln Cinemas in downtown Lincoln. A schedule of current movies can be heard by calling Lincoln Cinemas 4 at 603-745-6238. Littleton, Plymouth, and Tilton also have small theatres.

New Hampshire is one of the very few states in the nation and the only in all of New England that features tax-free shopping. Many people come to New Hampshire simply to save the 5-9% sales tax they pay elsewhere and many of our guests do all their holiday and birthday shopping while they are here on vacation.

In the summer season, Main Street here in North Woodstock offers small New England downtown style shopping with unique gift shops, jewelry, candles, and some outdoor equipment. Many are also open in the winter season.

In Lincoln, the Village Shops are open year round and offer a small enclosed shopping mall with fantastic outdoor clothing, home furnishings, and a small Woodstock-based shirt printing and embroidery outlet. The Village Shops are slated for further development in the coming years and more shops may be added this summer.

Outlet malls can be found in:

North Conway (50 minutes east of North Woodstock). Loads of shopping malls including over a hundred brand name outlet stores.

Tilton (40 minutes south of North Woodstock on I-93, exit 20). Over 50 brand name outlet shops like The Tanger Outlet Center To visit, take I-93, Left Off Exit 20

Littleton offers a traditional Main Street shopping environment and can be found 25 minutes north on I-93. Unique gift shops, candy store, bookstore, upscale clothing, and Wal-Mart.
