We’re hiring an Assistant Brewery Manager/Brewer

We’ve been at it for more than 20 years in the White Mountains. We have a seven barrel system for our restaurant and a thirty barrel packaging brewery. We need a beer passionate hardworking person to assist the Brewery Manager/Head Brewer must have lab experience and experience with using several yeast strains.

  • Safety minded, efficient, quality focused, great work ethic, positive attitude and a team player
  • Must have lab experience and experience in managing several yeast strains
  • Operation and upkeep of equipment and maintaining quality control throughout all aspects of the brewing, cellering and packaging process
  • Receive and process raw materials, gather and weigh out hops and malts, and otherwise stage brewing ingredients to keep production running smoothly and all beers at optimal quality level
  • Complete brewing process in a safe, efficient manner. This includes, but not limited to milling, mashing, wort boiling, cooling and transfer to fermentation
  • Monitor, pitch and evaluate yeast as needed
  • Ensure supply of raw materials and other inventory, such as malt, hops, brewing additives, safety equipment, and chemicals
  • Maintain superior cleanliness in all areas in the brew house
  • Monitor gravity, ph and cell counts, sampling
  • Help supervise and delegate tasks as needed
  • Represent brewery with pride and enthusiasm both inside and outside the brewery
